Biography

Craig Schoedler (composer/guitarist/bassist) was born and raised in Wilmington, De and attended The Tatnall School. He went on to study performance and composition at Temple University, and New York University, where he earned a Masters degree. After studying with some of the finest musicians in New York City, Craig became one of the busiest players on the East Coast. As a sideman, Craig performed at jazz festivals, shows, and concerts playing every style of music imaginable. In 2001, his critically acclaimed cd, “By the water”, gained international attention including airplay in Europe and Usa. His second cd, “Bach to Bass”, featured a few of the Bach Cello Suites performed on his six string bass.

Craig’s third cd, There’s something about a mountain”, featured him playing spacious melodies on acoustic guitar, and received great reviews, as well as airplay from Colorado to Boston. “Giorni a Venezia” features Craig playing solo bass once again. Craig performs his show “Destinations ” at jazz festivals and on cruise ships worldwide in 2019.
